By Heather Sanders We took a Thanksgiving Break following our 12th week of school. Except for the ridiculous amount of money spent getting our Suburban traveling to and fro, it was amazing; as in, I treasured EVERY SINGLE MOMENT with my family, and extended family–especially those that involved sitting and staring at the fireplace.

After being spared most of the snow that most of our area received over the past week—the snow that has caused schools and churches to close, cars to wind up in ditches, and havoc to break out in the world of air travel—the ranch got a couple of inches of snow late yesterday afternoon.

My brother-in-law Tim has Brahman bulls, and since the bulls’ pasture borders our road, I get to see them all the time.

My husband and his brother Tim grew up on the ranch. They had another brother named Todd. He was the oldest.
First of all, in case you didn’t know, mini pretzels are sweeping the nation. No, really—they are! All you need to do is Google “Pretzel Treats” and you’ll find quadrillions of recipes for various goodies using miniature pretzels (either square or twists) as a base.
I actually love that Thanksgiving was so late this year, because all of a sudden…BOOM! It’s already Christmastime!
